- I am a woman living in the woods with animals and nature all around me. I am a painter and a photographer. I left the corporate world fifteen years ago to live in the quiet of the New Hampshire Monadnock woods. I have not had a moment of regret. It is a simple, serene, close to the earth, life I live. I am very fortunate and grateful for what I have.

About This Blog
This blog is a daily record of my sojourns out of the house into nature. I made a commitment to myself to head outside for battery recharging at least once every day – for a year. No exceptions. Here you will read about my daily adventures.I was going to call this “Heading Inside Outside” for it is my hope and expectation that by purposefully taking my mind and body outside, I will journey inside to that place where reality lies. This will be an organic blog – it will go where my mind goes (and believe me, my mind goes all over the place), and perhaps in time, where my spirit leads.
